From Malinda (2006-7)

The success of the Sauve program really rested on the generosity, good humour and boundless goodwill of both Jim and Nancy. The Wrights opened up their home and hearts to us, making us feel welcome and nurtured during our time in Montreal. Jim was like a dad to everyone on the program - he met our partners, went to our weddings, engaged in lively banter over cups of tea in the Sauve kitchen, taught us to carve pumpkins, kept us fed, introduced us to people who shared our passions, celebrated our successes and gave advice and consolation when we faced difficulties. He had a great sense of humour and a big heart and will be dearly missed always. Malinda Wink, Sauve Scholar 2006-07
